Gordon and Cathy met at the University of Waterloo over a dead body and were later radically converted while traveling by bike around New Zealand. They graduated from the Centre for Christian Education in Dallas, Texas and went on to minister in a church in St. Catharines, Ontario. Cathy’s heart is to equip and launch people into their calling in ministry. She is the creator and current coordinator of Catch the Fire’s Church Planting and Development Module. Gordon’s passion is teaching and making the Old Testament come alive to believers. He is pursuing a PhD in Old Testament and is the author of Oriented, a contemplative storied look at the first eleven chapters of Genesis. In 2003, Gordon and Cathy became the directors of the Catch The Fire School of Ministry. They also oversee many areas of the ministry including our internship programs, the international SoM Campuses, and Catch The Fire College.
