FAQ

  • Should I take the courses online or in-person?

Both formats cover the same teachings and offer a similar small group experience. The online experience, which allows for you to learn and work through the material from home, is especially suited to people who may be working remotely or taking care of children at home. If you are able to travel, then coming to Toronto will give you the most immersive experience.

  • How much time does the online school take?

In total, about 10 hours per week, 6-7 of which is flexible and can be done according to your schedule. There are live Virtual Ministry Sessions once a week and will be approx. 2 hours at the most. The Small Group component will be every week at a time chosen by your small group leader (depending on schedules and time zones etc). On top of this, you will have 1-on-1 mentorship calls and three book reports spread throughout the semester.

  • Does it matter which timezone I'm in?

No, it doesn’t matter which timezone you are in. You can take this class from anywhere in the world. The lessons are pre-recorded, so you can watch them around your own schedule. Once a week there will be live virtual ministry sessions with your teachers. Small group virtual meetings will be scheduled to match the member's schedules. We’ve tried to design the class in a way that it will help you stay committed and feel immersed in the process, but also flexible enough that you can fit it into your personal schedule.
